FOR OUR BENEFIT AND THE PLANET'S: SYSTEMATIC RECYCLING.
A PVC-U window has a service life of at least 40 years and can be recycled eight times. When it comes to recycling windows, we have developed intelligent technologies incorporating our extensive expertise in materials and production techniques. The principle: We process the PVC-U profiles of old windows into pellets, which are then combined with virgin material to produce new windows. This ensures a high level of resource efficiency. And what exactly does that mean? For every kilogram of recycled PVC we use, two kilograms of CO2 is saved. It's a figure we are very proud of.
ONE STEP AHEAD WITH RECYCLING
We are entering uncharted ecological territory with ReExtrude: In a true first, weare producing window profiles from 100% recycled PVC material, which also stand out for their exceptional quality. This is because ReExtrude window profiles are treated with the innovative finish, guaranteeing high UV resistance as well as a premium look. Furthermore, our very own recycling programme ensures that old materials can be reused for new profiles.
OUR PROMISE TO YOU AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
* PVC-U materials accrued during window production and old PVC-U windows are collected and returned to us
* In our company, we condition the PVC-U recycled materials and old PVC windows and use them to produce new window profiles
* Only high-quality and precision-controlled recycled material is used for our window profiles
ROSCOM has lead the industry in the environmentally responsible use of PVC-U for almost as long, showing a real commitment to minimising its environmental impact at every stage from manufacture, fabrication and home energy efficiency to recycling. ROSCOM created the purpose-built PVC-U window recycling facility, processing old windows to such a purity to make new windows, rather than lower grade products. We believe it is only 'true' recycling when it is a closed loop process, extending a window's life to a theoretical infinity. All our transport routes are carefully planned to cut mileage and reduce emissions. All vehicles in our fleet are less than five years old; several of them run on LPG rather than diesel and each is able to carry more products than the industry average.
